Wow, looks just like the mage I Rp, save his eyes are blue, and hair black

Love the lighting, especially on the face and hood. The mage trinkets are very cool and tasteful, clearly significant but not overdone at all. And I notice the separation of light sources and their effects, particularly hos his eyes catch the light from his hand which his forearm catches the light from his amulet. The separate lighting is excellently done.

The expression is very appropriate for your title, angry and focused and yet not overdone. The red eyes are interesting, but I get the feeling they're just part of the person rather than the result of his magic or an effect of him being angry.

The magic effects themselves are pretty cool. The amulet looks both functional and aesthetic, as does that sweet chain on his hand. His fingers, though are where my attention's caught, where they seem just bright enough to lose detail, but not overdone and focusing on the blue-ness itself. The magic is tastefully done, and the way he's holding his hand suggests that, even while angry, he's got control. Not a clenched fist or a claw.

So all in all, well done. The picture is one of quality and style without being overdone or exaggerated. Keep up the great work.

I have never thought much of mages and their anger. Being more of a warrior type myself, the whole spell casting thing seemed a little bit too much to be afraid of. but, after this, I may make an exception. O.O
Great job. The contrast is excellent. I was originally drawn to the eyes and let me say you used those to your full advantage. The blue in them caused me to look at his hand and magic, which moved my eye to his amulet. Amazing!
Hand, btw, also excellently constructed. Wow. Just, Wow.
